"Four Ovations" from INNovations, Inc. The Heartstone Inn Bed and Breakfast was selected as one of 18 inns in the U.S. to receive Four Ovations, designating the inn as "exceptional and significantly exceeding requirements in physical and operational categories."

Hundreds of bed and breakfast inns across the country participated in this unique award program which assigned a rating system exclusive to B&B's and singled out the best sites in the United States. Inns were rated in the areas of ambience, architectural detail, service to guests, reputation, and overall presentation of the property. Judges were Sally Jessy Raphael, ABC talk show host and innkeeper; Norman Strasma, publisher, Inn Business Review; Dan Kisch, publisher, Corporate Travel; Maggie Thompson, senior editor, Successful Meetings; and Jim Flaherty, innkeeper, Troutbeck.
